Candys Sheryl Brown, 51, of Corydon, died Monday, September 25, 2017.  She was born September 24, 1966, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Preston Baum and Donna Barrett.  She was a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia with a degree in Criminal Justice.    

Survivors include her husband, Joseph Lee Brown, Jr.; her son, Joseph Lee Brown, III of Corydon; her daughters, Ricquitta Johnson of Louisville, and Tishjauna Johnson of Phenix City, Alabama; her sisters, Ricquitta, Carla and Nina LaCount all of Virginia; Maxine and Barbara Harris and Karma and Aleshia Wells all of Philadelphia; her brothers, Terry LaCount of Philadelphia and Brion Wells of Norristown, Pennsylvania; her grandchildren, Tre’von and Jamie Burr, Starr Child, Donovan Daniels, Rhyanna Shine, Jaleel and Julian Duclos, and Kaden and Jaxson Brown.

Funeral services are pending and will be announced at a later date by the Walter E. Sabbath, Jr. Funeral Home in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
