Ruth Reschar Rosenbarger, 91, of Taswell, died Monday, February 20, 2017, at Indian Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center n Corydon.  She was born June 22, 1925, in Clark County, Indiana, to the late Charles and Sarah Prince Reschar.  She was a member of the Fairview General Baptist Church in Taswell and Fountain United Methodist Church near Corydon, was a member of the Order of Eastern Star #327, the Harrison County Extension Homemaker’s Club, the Blue River Hills Home Economics Club, the Harrison County Farm Bureau, and the Harrison County Fair Board, and was the former secretary/treasurer of the National Redbone Coonhound Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clarence W. “Buddy” Rosenbarger; and her brother, Charlie Reschar.

Survivors include her son, Mark A. Rosenbarger of Georgetown, Indiana; her grandchildren, Travis Rosenbarger (Megan), Dawn Michelle Kopp (Jerry), and Mark A. Rosenbarger, Jr.; and 5 great grandchildren.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Jim Higdon will officiate.  Burial will be in Pitman Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
