I am so sorry for your loss. The last time I saw Ron was at the funeral home in January when my husband, Mike McDaniel, passed away. Mike and I worked together for more than 40 years, so I knew and spoke to Ron often when he was a prosecutor. Though they worked on different sides they always had a mutual respect and they both had similar senses of humor. Mike always said Ron was a prosecutor with a soul. He will be missed.

They lost the mold after Ron. An inspiration to my children, exemplified the best in each profession he chose. I regret not being able to pay my respects but I'm still pretty well confined to home. He an Frank will have great celebration meeting.

Ronnie was a basketball teammate at Russellville High School. None of us were great basketball players but we loved each other and formed lasting bonds of friendship. Unfortunately, many of us went our separate ways and lost track of each other, which happened with Ronnie and me. It is apparent that Ronnie led a productive and wonderful life and made the world a better place for his family and friends. God bless you, Ronnie. I hope to see you again someday.

Sharon, Melodie and Lesley words are so inadequate to express how we feel. Ron was a very special person as you are Sharon. You know he is wrapped in God's arms. Mr. Simpson (even 40-plus years after having him as my junior high history teacher, I can't call him "Ron") was simply a wonderful person. I don't have enough superlatives in my vocabulary to express his kindness, professionalism, caring for others, and sense of humor. He always spoke to us, his former students, and had a ready smile for everyone. He took the time to talk, to ask about the family, and he really cared about how things were going. He was beloved by so many in our community and far beyond, and will be greatly missed.
