Freddie Johnson, 70, of Corydon, died Sunday, August 6, 2017, at his home near Corydon. He was born December 16, 1946 in Butler County, Kentucky. He was a retired foreman at Daramic in Corydon and was a member of the Christian faith.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hilary Johnson; his brother, Donald Heath and his granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife, Jonetta L. Burlison Johnson; his mother, Rietta Goodwin Heath; his sons, Ricky Johnson, Kyle Johnson (Angie) and Jonathan Nemeth (Chrissy); his daughters, Rachel Holmes (Ben), Sarah Payton (Daniel) and Rebecca Bezy (Ben); his brothers, David Heath (Shellie) and Danny Heath (Mary Jo); his grandchildren, Jacey, Palmer, Tucker, Emily, Bo, Leland, Gabi and Carter; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 10, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor David Heath and Pastor Daniel Payton will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Trinity Assembly of God Church in Corydon.
Pallbearers will be Ray Warren, Jonathan Nemeth, Ben Heath, Branden McQueen, Jerrad Ayres and Brad Knieriem.
