Zola Ruth Frakes

Zola Ruth Frakes, 94, of Corydon, died Friday, July 24, 2020, at Beard Assisted Care near Laconia.  She was born December 10, 1925, in Corydon, to the late James and Leona Pearl Lohmeyer Frakes.  She was a homemaker, a farmer and a quilter, was a member of Perseverance Chapel United Methodist Church near Corydon and Indiana Farm Bureau, and she loved gardening.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Harlan, Rudy, Gerald and Henry Frakes; and her sisters, Edith Dickson, Irma Frakes and Mary Frakes.

Survivors include two nephews and two nieces.

Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial will be in Perseverance Chapel Cemetery near Corydon.
