Zoie Terese Spires

Zoie Terese Spires, 24, of Jeffersonville, died Friday, November 3, 2023, at her home near Corydon, Indiana.  She was born October 29, 1999, in New Albany, Indiana.  She was employed with Metlife in Jeffersonville, was formerly employed with United Collection Bureau in Jeffersonville, and attended Northside Christian Church in Jeffersonville.  She was an amazing mother who enjoyed every minute with Artist (2 years old) and Phoenix (1 year old). Her sweet and loving soul will be missed by so many.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Traci Jo Flickner Spires; her aunt, Teresa Flickner; and her grandparents, Jim and Bonnie Saulman, Ilor Flickner, Jr. and Margaret Flickner, and Thomas Edwards.

Survivors include her children, Artist and Phoenix Curtiss and their father, Zoie’s partner, Tristan Curtiss; her father, Stephen Spires of Jeffersonville, Indiana; her brothers, Zavier and Zander Spires both of Jeffersonville; her grandparents, Linda (Spires) Edwards of Columbus, Ohio, Debbie Gresham (Dwight) of Corydon, Ilor H. “Jr.” Flickner III of Corydon; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

There will be a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Deacon Tim Elder will officiate. 

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
