Wilma Jean Richard, 90, of Mauckport, died Saturday, December 4, 2021, at University of Louisville Hospital. She was born December 30, 1930, in Mauckport, to the late Cordia E. and Hazel E. Carver Wiseman. She was the owner/operator of River View Trucking and Hoosier Freight in Corydon, a former school bus driver, a beautician, a bookkeeper at Keller Manufacturing Company in Corydon, and a member of First Capital Christian Church in Corydon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Denver Ray Richard; her son, Phillip Dwayne Richard; her grandchildren, Virginia Richard and Jason Carmichael; and her brothers, Wayne, Noble and Elmer Wiseman.
Survivors include her son, Patrick D. Richard (Rhonnetta) of Shepherdsville, Kentucky; her daughter, Pamela D. Carmichael of Corydon; her grandchildren, Allison Carney (Jamie), Alanna Fowler (Eric), Abby Culver (Zach), Patrissa Richard, Katie Richard, Kylie Richard and Sara Allen (David); and her great grandchildren, Ally Lopp, Anna Lopp, Preston Phillips, Lilly Carney, Jalen Fowler, Layla Fowler, Brody Fowler, Kenan Fowler, Zander Culver, Beckett Culver, Samuel Carney, Wylee Fowler, Jackson Allen, and Luke Allen.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Randy Kirk will officiate. Burial will be in Hyland Cemetery near Mauckport.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to First Capital Christian Church in Corydon.
Pallbearers will be Jamie Carney, Zach Culver, Eric Fowler, Jalen Fowler, Bradley Wiseman, Dewayne Wiseman and Kelvin Wiseman.
