William Ray “Bill” Conrad, 74, of Corydon, died Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Harrison Healthcare Center in Corydon.  He was born June 18, 1950, in Corydon, to the late Hershell Ray Conrad and Martha Jane Elrod Rhodes Conrad.  He was retired from Ramsey Popcorn Company, was formerly employed with PST Trucking and Vermont American, was a life member of the NRA, and was a member of Hursttown Church near Corydon, the North American Hunting Club and The Single Action Shooting Society (SASS).

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Wayne Rhodes; and his sisters, Betty Conrad and Martha Rhodes.

 

Survivors include his brother, David Rhodes (Lillian) of Corydon; his sister, Ruby Rhodes of Corydon; his sister in law, Shirley Rhodes; and many loving nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Edith Bleecker will officiate.  Burial will be in Pennington Chapel Cemetery near Corydon. 

 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
