Obituary

William R. “Robbie” Barnes, Jr., 64, of Mauckport, died Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.  He was born September 23, 1957, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late William Robert Barnes, Sr. and Lizzie Mae Cook Barnes.  He was retired from Orscheln Farm and Home in Radcliff, Kentucky, was formerly employed with Melton Food Marts in Louisville, and was a member of the AMR.

 

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen A. Wilcheck Barnes; his son, Ryan William Barnes (Lacey) of Mauckport; his granddaughter, Jazzlyn Barnes; his brother, David Barnes (Stacey) of Vine Grove, Kentucky; his sisters, Patricia Barnes and Anita Barnes both of Louisville; and his aunt, Martha Turner of Louisville.

 

There will be a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 21, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral home in Corydon.

 

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
