William Gene "Billy" Abell

William Gene “Billy” Abell, 60, of Leavenworth, died Monday, May 24, 2021, at his home in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was born January 25, 1961 in Torrance, California.  He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #2950 in Corydon and the American Legion Post #84 in Marengo, Indiana, attended Community Fellowship Church in Corydon, and was U.S. Army veteran.

He was preceded in death by his father Billy Gene Abell.

Survivors include his mother, Bettie Ruth Majors Abell; his brother, Joseph Michael Stevens, Sr.; and many loving cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial will be in Leavenworth Memorial Gardens near Leavenworth.
