William D. "Bill" Brannan Obituary

William D. “Bill” Brannan, 70, of Corydon, died Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at St. Vincent Hospital in Salem, Indiana.  He was born April 12, 1950 in Carroll, Iowa.  He was retired, was the president of Veterans of Harrison County, was a member of Lincoln Hills Christian Church in Corydon, and was a U.S. Army veteran.    

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Duane Brannan; and his sister, Pam Freeman.

 

Survivors include his wife, Debra J. “Debbie” Desurne Brannan; his mother, Barbara Childs Brannan of Vallejo, California; his son, Shane Gresham (Misty) of Corydon; his daughter, Wendy Redman (Micah) of Lake Winnebago, Missouri; his brother, David Brannan of Vallejo; his sister, Sue Helms of Pacheco, California; his grandchildren, Madison Redman, Dustin Gresham and Eric Gresham; and his great grandchildren, Lilly and Destiny.

 

Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

 

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Veterans of Harrison County.
