Wanda Maxine LaDuke, 84, of Elizabeth, Indiana, died Thursday, July 21, 2022, at University of Louisville Hospital.  She was born June 7, 1938, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Lawrence and Mellie Lohmeyer Stevens.  She was retired from Philip Morris in Louisville, was a member of Smith Campground United Methodist Church near Dogwood, Indiana, and loved IU basketball, quilting and spending time with her great grandsons.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Mark Vincent LaDuke; and her sister, Bonnie Dennison.

 

Survivors include her husband, Carl V. LaDuke; her daughter, Wanda McRae (Billy); her grandchildren, Andrew McRae and Amber McRae; her great grandsons, Luke McRae and Levi McRae; her brothers, Floyd Stevens, Nelson Stevens, and Albert Stevens; and her sisters, Yvonne Pease, Alice Hoke, Roberta McRae, Linda Faith, Eleanor Keinsley, Virginia Absher, and Judy Schoen.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Charles Pelc will officiate.  Burial will be in Rehoboth Cemetery near Laconia, Indiana.

 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday, and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

 

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Smith Campground United Methodist Church or the Rehoboth Cemetery Fund.

 

Pallbearers will be Billy McRae, Andrew McRae, Michael Fuller, Sheldon Dennison, Randall Schoen and Jerry Pease.
