Walter W. Vogt, 95, of Corydon, died Friday, September 16, 2022, at the Robley Rex V.A. Medical Center in Louisville. He was born November 13, 1926, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late John and Antionette Welman Vogt. He was a retired manager at Old Capital Popcorn near Ramsey, Indiana, was formerly employed at Keller Manufacturing Company in Corydon, attended Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon, and was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois Jean Grable Vogt; his brothers, George and John Vogt; and his sister, Marian “Becka” Carroll.
Survivors include his sons, Randall Joseph Vogt (Sandra) of Louisville and Michael David Vogt (Tammy) of Corydon; his daughter, Nancy Lynn Wiseman (Jerrell) of Corydon; 14 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.
There will be a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, September 25, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Andy Hansen will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Corydon.
Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
