Tracy Jo Brown, 60, of Sellersburg, Indiana, died Thursday, December 25, 2025, at her home in Sellersburg, Indiana.  She was born, March 11, 1965, in Corydon, Indiana.  Tracy was a proud mother, having home schooled her children, and was the founder and member of SOAR (Survivors Of Abuse Restored) and REACH-IN (Readily Embracing All Children under Heaven In Need), was very active in REC (Residents Encounter Christ), and was a member of Pleasant Ridge Church near Corydon and the Emmaus Community.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald H. Reas; her stepfather, Dennis R. Reasor; and her grandparents, Louis and Charity McCollum.

 

Survivors include her husband, William P. “Bill” Brown, III; her son, Matthew Aaron Brown; her daughter, Abigail Elizabeth Sprayberry (Thomas); her mother, Phyllis J. McCollum Reasor; her brother, Glenn C. Reas; her niece, Olivia C. South (Brandon); and her best friend, Jennifer Orr.

 

There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Pleasant Ridge Church near Corydon.  Rev. Callie Best will officiate.

 

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday, and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
