“Tommie” Cole, 74, of Corydon, Indiana, died Friday, June 6, 2025, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.  She was born November 22, 1950, in Noblesville, Indiana, to the late Kenneth W. and Lola May Childress Sherrill.  She was formerly employed in the cafeteria at Corydon Elementary School.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandchildren, Waylon Lynn Flickner and Maria Lynn Flickner; and her brothers, Toby and Gordon Day.

 

Survivors include her daughters, Dawn Brown (Lee), Dee Dee Coates (Mike), and Deawna Cole, and their father, Hood Cole; her grandchildren, Chelsea Henderson, Regal Flickner, and Levi Maggard; her great grandchildren, Isiah Flickner, Rita Good, Keegan Flickner, Kamila Flickner, and Ellie Flickner; her brother, Cy Sherrill; and her sisters, Wanda Hart and Lorna Woessner.  

 

Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
