Tina M. Kennedy, 54, of Laconia, died Tuesday, December 31, 2024, at her home.  She was born September 17, 1970, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Linda Wise Colvin and the late Thomas A. Dowell.  Tina formerly worked at Autumn Woods Health Campus in New Albany, Indiana.  She was a devoted mother and wife and she loved Jesus and her dogs, Hope and Bella.

 

Tina was preceded in death by her father; her stepfather, William Colvin; her brother, Thomas Dowell; and her sister, Lynne Smith.

 

Survivors include her mother; her husband, William Kennedy; her daughter, Kristin Kennedy; her sisters, Sherry Hodge (Mike) and Anna Tungate (Dale); and numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Darren Carey will officiate.  Burial will be in Memorial Baptist Church Cemetery near Laconia.

 

Visitation will be after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Mike Hodge, Dustin Hill, Adam Kennedy, Bryan Kennedy, Terry Hill and Vic Smither.

 

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Heart Association.
