Terry L. Conrad, 81, of Corydon, peacefully passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022, at his home near Corydon with his family by his side. He was born May 24, 1941 in New Albany, Indiana. He was a retired owner/operator for Conrad Trucking Co. also working for Liquid Transport and O’Boil Tank Lines. He had been in 48 states and also Canada, never having any accidents in his career of driving. He also received several Safety Driving awards.
Terry also did farming and was into cattle. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and gardening along with square dancing and club activities. He was a mason, belonging to the Crandall Masonic Lodge #591 and the Corydon Chapter of the York Rite #207. He also belonged to the American Truckers Historical Society.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Eugene Conrad and Leilah Claudine Cole Tabb; his wife, Neica Faye Faith Conrad; and his son, Roger Lee Conrad.
Survivors include his companion who cared for him, Margaret Ann Davis of Corydon; his daughter, Teresa Lynn Jester (Andy) of Santa Claus, Indiana; his grandchildren, Andrew Jester (Courtney), Meranda Jester, Andrea Jester, Christina Jester, and Nikki Traub; and his great grandchildren, Daxton Jester, Harlan Jester, Dylan Carnes, Chase Carnes, and Cody Carnes.
Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Richard Poe will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
There will be Masonic Rites at 7:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
