Terri Lynn Green Himmelhaver, 66, of Lanesville, died Sunday, October 30, 2022, at her home in Lanesville, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 10, 1956, in Corydon, Indiana, to the late William C. “Bill” and Phyllis N. Faith Green. She was retired from PNC Bank in Louisville where she worked as an Administrative Assistant and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville. Terri was a founding member of the Lanesville Jay-Shes, was instrumental in starting the annual senior citizens Thanksgiving dinner, was a Kentucky Colonel and a Kentucky Jaycee Thoroubred, and was the past president of the Lanesville Booster Club. She loved walking, taking care of her flowers and birds, cheering for the Lanesville Lady Eagles and her grandkids sports teams, and most of all, being a proud “Granny”.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Louis “Chuck” Himmelhaver; her son, Matthew V. Himmelhaver (Ashley); her daughter, Melissa A. Wynn (Brad); her brother, Butch Green (Anna); her sister, Patty Garrison (Todd); her grandchildren, Evan Louis Wynn, Ethan Andrew Wynn, Camryn Grace Himmelhaver and Keaton Matthew Himmelhaver; and many loving nieces, nephews, brother in laws and sister in laws.
Her funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 8, 2022, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville. Father Kyle Rodden will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

The family would like to thank everyone for all the cards, prayers and messages sent during Terri’s cancer battles, and would especially like to thank the staff at Sellersburg Healthcare, New Chapel Ambulance Service, Baptist Health Floyd hospital, and Baptist Floyd Cancer Center for their dedicated and loving care.
