Susie Nelson

Susie Nelson, 64, of Corydon, died Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Lincoln Hills Health Center in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born October 16, 1958, in Rockport, Kentucky, to the late William “Bill” and Eunice Decker Baize.  She was formerly employed at the Hillside Animal Clinic in Floyds Knobs, Indiana, at ICON Metal Forming and Tower Automotive both in Corydon, and at Airguard in New Albany, and was a self employed owner and trainer of Old Hill Nose Kennel Club in Floyds Knobs.

Survivors include her sons, Scott M. Cox and Robby Faulkenburg (Tabby Lone) both of Corydon; her daughter, Michelle R. Cox of New Albany; her grandchildren, Ryan McNeary and Hayden Faulkenburg; her brother, Willie Baize; and her sister, Rene Baize.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, February 19, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Donnie Whitlow will officiate.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
