Susan Lyle Curts

Susan Lyle Curts, 73, of Corydon, Indiana, died Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Norton Clark Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana.  She was born August 17, 1952, in Corydon, to the late Lyle Joseph and Edna Alene Cart Haas.  She was retired from the U. S. Census Bureau in Jeffersonville. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Edward “Jim” Curts; her brothers, Noel and Joseph Haas; and her sister, Gilla Romo.

Survivors include her sons, Steven C. Curts (Elizabeth Cochran) of Corydon and Kevin L. Curts of Riverside, California; her brother, Frederick Haas; and her sister-in-law, Marsha Haas.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2026, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Danny Goodman will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sunday and after 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be James Albin, Jacob Albin, Daniel Haas and Peter Thelen.
