Sue Franklin Riddle

Sue Franklin Riddle, 80, of Corydon, died Friday, October 18, 2024, in Corydon.  She was born February 23, 1944, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Jay Franklin Smith and Nora Lydia Sartell Smith.  She was a retired Registered Nurse at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, and was a member of the Corydon United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, and the DAR.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Danny J. Riddle; her brother, Marc Smith; and her sister, Rebecca Moore.

Survivors include her daughter, Lydia Bates (Lonnie); her grandson, Evan Bates (Abigail); her brother, Martin Smith (Deanna); and her sister, JoRita Collins.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Janet Kelley will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
