Sue Ellen Keller, 77, of New Albany, Indiana, died Friday, January 2, 2026, at her home in Salem, Indiana.  She was born May 1, 1948, in New Albany, to the late Louis Edward Leone and Mary Jo King Leone.  She was formerly employed with Hillerich and Bradsby and at the Floyd County Indiana Assessor’s Office, loved playing Bingo, reading, playing cards, dancing, sewing, going to the beach, watching her grandkids and great grandkids play sports, and embarrassing her kids.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Keller; her daughter, Rebecca Keller; her sister, Kelly Hall; and her son in-law, James East.

 

Survivors include her daughters, Trisha East and Tonya Keller; her grandchildren, Christopher Paulley, Jr. (Jessica), Cory Paulley (Kailee), Amber Lowe (Jack) and Chelsea Wilson (Ryne); her great grandchildren, Matthew (Riley), Nick, Gavin, Zayne (Kendall), Koen, Zuree, Karly, Joey, Kysn and Rylnn; her brother, Mark Leone; her sisters, Carmel Akers (Jim) and Marie Hartfield (Doug); 8 nieces and nephews; and many other children that called her “Mamaw Sue”.

 

Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

 

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

 

Honorary pallbearers will be Christopher Paulley, Jr., Cory Paulley, Ryne Wilson, Jack Lowe, Zayne Paulley, Koen Paulley, Matthew Staser, Nick Staser, Gavin Paulley and Kysn Wilson.
