Sue E. White

Sue E. White, 79, of Corydon, died Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.  She was born January 14, 1945, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Herschel “Pete” and Lucy Ellen Wiseman Dean.  She was formerly employed at Walmart in Corydon and at M. Fine and Sons Shirt Factory in New Albany, Indiana, was a member of Mauckport Community Church, and loved trivia and playing euchre and cornhole.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Randy White; her daughter, Heather Lynn Kelley; her granddaughter, Dana Johnson; her brother, Larry Dean; and her significant other, Richard Chism.

Survivors include her son, Marty White (Susan) of Georgetown, Indiana; her daughters, Debbie S. White (Billy) of Mauckport, Indiana and Jill White (John) of Blairsville, Georgia; her sister, Patty Wright (Shay) of Fort Myers, Florida; her grandchildren, Autumn Kaylor, Tara Wright (Eric), Michael White (Kelsey), Christopher White, Rayna Kelley, Caleb Kelley, Zade Houghlin and Addison Houghlin; and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, April 8, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Allen Edwards will officiate.  Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery near Laconia, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 6:00 p.m. Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Michael White, Christopher White, Caleb Kelley, Zade Houghlin, Rick Dean and Larry Dean, Jr.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Mauckport Community Church.
