Shirley C. Mason

Shirley Catherine Mason, 83, of Leavenworth, died Monday, January 13, 2020, at Harrison Springs Health Campus in Corydon.  She was born May 27, 1936, in Sulphur, Indiana, to the late Sherrill and Bertha Saddler Wright.  She was a retired postmaster, was a member and deacon at Community Presbyterian Church in Leavenworth, was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Crawford County Arts and Crafts Club, and was a board member of the Community Foundation of Crawford County.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Willis Wright.

Survivors include her husband, Charles “Sam” Mason; her sons, Marcus W. Mason (Susan) of Avon, Indiana and Kevin D. Mason (Debbie) of Bedford, Indiana; her grandchildren, Quinn Mason (Bethany), Kristen Johnston (James) and Brad Mason; and her great grandchildren, Masie, Addie and Wynnie.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 18, 2020, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Mick Finch will officiate.  Burial will be in Leavenworth Memorial Gardens near Leavenworth.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Townsend Drive, Leavenworth, Indiana 47137 or the Community Foundation of Crawford County at 4030 East Goodman Ridge Road, Box D, Marengo, Indiana 47140.
