Shirley Ann Daily, 77, of Corydon, Indiana, died Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at her home near Corydon.  She was born April 24, 1948, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Joseph “Donald” and Katherine M. Fox Kintner.  She was a beautician at Shorty’s Beauty Salon near Palmyra, Indiana, was a former nurse at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, was retired from the Harrison County Justice Center in Corydon, and was a member of Fountain Church near Corydon.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Earl Wayne Daily; and her brother, Joseph Donald “Joe” Kintner II.

 

Survivors include her daughters, Donna E. Daily (Susan), Jennifer M. Daily (Jenny), and Kathryn E. Von Heimburg; her brother, William Paul Kintner; her sister, Karen Kay Windell (John); and her grandchildren, Jenna Grace, Aiden, Alex, Julia, Adam, and Quinn.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Cendy Cushman and Rev. Jenny Caffrey will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

 

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Kara Ferguson, Jenna Mathes, Larry Stratton, Aiden Von Heimburg, Alex Von Heimburg, and Chad Windell.
