Shirley A. Reasor

Shirley A. Reasor, 85, of Clarksville, died Monday, April 26, 2021, at Westminster Village in Clarksville.  She was born December 13, 1935, in Corydon, Indiana, to the late James and Stella Voyles Benson.  She was a secretary at American Family Insurance in Clarksville and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis Reasor; her children, Steve Zabel, Cindy Zabel and Tony Zabel; her grandchildren, Desiree Coy and Daniel Zabel; and her brother, Robert Benson.

Survivors include her daughter, Becky Suddeth (Robert) of New Albany, Indiana; her granddaughter, Taylor Suddeth; and her great granddaughter, Kynnadi Thomas.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 30, 2021, at St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville.  Pastor Mark Carnahan will officiate.  Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Friday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to St. John’s Lutheran School for the Adopt-a-Child Fund to help with school tuition. 

Pallbearers will be Larry Eisert, David Hussung, Randy Hussung, Robert Suddeth, Henry Suddeth and Terry Jenkins.
