Sharon Linn Sheckells Obituary
Sharon Linn Sheckells, 74, of English, Indiana, died Friday, June 26, 2026, at her home near English. She was born December 18, 1951, in Ohio, to the late Robert and Melva Jackoby Fite. Sharon worked as a waitress at the Country Style Plaza in Carefree, Indiana and in French Lick, Indiana, was a substitute teacher for the Crawford County Schools, and was a member of Holy Mount Church near Alton, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Christopher Kearns; her brother, Robert; and her sister, Debbie.
Survivors include her husband, Michael D. Sheckells and her sister, Carol Sue Sparks.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 2, 2026, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Marvin Culver will officiate. Burial will be in El Bethel Cemetery near English, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Dennis Talley, Heath Carkuff, Adam Sheckells, James Dooley, Brandon Roser and Brayden Casper.
