Sandy Tobias

Sandy Tobias, 83, of Corydon, died Sunday, October 24, 2021, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born February 3, 1938, in Kokomo, Indiana, to the late Leon and Erma Hart Dearinger.  She was a member of First Capital Christian Church in Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Sue Lynn Tobias.

Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Marshall A. Tobias; her daughter, Katrina Layer (John K.) of Evansville, Indiana; her brother, Ronald Dearinger of Logansport, Indiana; her sisters, Carolyn Sommers of Forest, Indiana and Paula Harshbarger of Delphi, Indiana; her grandchildren, Caitlin Nikolai (Peter), and Andrew K. Layer (Kaleen); and her great grandchildren, Ariel and Lucas Nikolai, and Nathaniel Layer.

Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to First Capital Christian Church.
