Sandra K. Schmitt

Sandra Kay Schmitt, 79, of Sellersburg, Indiana, died Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Baptist Health Floyd Hospital in New Albany, Indiana. She was born on May 8, 1947, in New Albany, to the late Charles Edward and Leona Rosetta (Bath) Poff.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Winn.

Survivors include her daughter, Melissa Fraley; her sister, Constance Burton; her two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation was chosen according to Sandra’s wishes. No services will be scheduled.

Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana has been entrusted with the arrangements.
