Sandra Elaine Tisdel

Sandra Elaine Tisdel, 64, of Orleans, died Thursday, May 25, 2023, at IU Bloomington Hospital.  She was born July 8, 1958 in Corydon, Indiana.  She was formerly employed as a QMA and CNA at the Paoli Convalescent Center and at many other local nursing homes, was a member of Potato Run Church near Corydon, and loved coloring and crafts.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell Joseph Byerley; and her brother in law, Kenny Cox.

Survivors include her mother, Hazel Delores Briles Byerley; her daughters, Sandy Music (Larry) and Heather Tisdel both of Paoli, Indiana, and Misty Hawkins (Stephen) of Orleans; her brothers, Robert J. Byerley (Marla) of New Albany, Indiana and Richard J. Byerley (Jill) of Georgetown, Indiana; her sister, Deborah Cox of Corydon; 12 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 2, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial will be in Potato Run Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Stephen Hawkins, Caleb Tisdel, Ty Andrews, Harley Music, Drevan Hill, and Brandon Stalker.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Potato Run Chapel.
