Ruth Faye Watson, 78, of Central, Indiana, died Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born September 24, 1947, in Crawford County, Indiana, to the late Willie A. and Mary Eliece Parks Wallbrown.  She was a retired bus driver, having driven for the South Harrison School Corporation at Heth Washington Elementary School for 48 years, was formerly employed at the old H.A. Seinsheimer Clothing Factory in New Albany, and was a member of Tower Full Gospel Church near Leavenworth, Indiana.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sons, Michael Kent Watson and Tracy Dale Watson; her son-in-law, Robert Glass; her great grandson, Braxton; and sister, Eva Lena Bright.

 

Survivors include her husband, Michael V. Watson; her son, Jason T. Watson (Tara S.); her daughter, Regina Faye Glass; her brother, Ronnie Dale Wallbrown; her grandchildren, Kaleab Scott, Felicia R. Glass, Bobbie M. Glass, and Aaron M.T. Glass; and her great grandchildren, Brayden, Brinley, Braxlynn, and Bryson.

 

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at Tower Full Gospel Church near Leavenworth.  Brother Doug Phillips will officiate.  Burial will be in Bloom Riddle Cemetery near Alton, Indiana.

 

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon, Indiana, and after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the church.

 

Pallbearers will be Kaleab Scott, Aaron Glass, Justin Scharrer, Matthew Burden, Gerome Byerley, Barry Wells, and Andrew Edge.

 

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Bloom Riddle Cemetery.
