Roy Lee Cunningham, Jr.

Roy Lee Cunningham, Jr., 66, of Corydon, died Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was born January 11, 1957, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Roy Lee Cunningham, Sr. and Fern Cunningham.  He was a self employed contractor and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Ronnie and Danny Cunningham; and his sisters, Sherrie Reid and Tammy Cunningham.

Survivors include his wife, Judy R. Pepper Cunningham; his sons, Roy L. Cunningham III (Courtnie) of Florida and G.J. Wilt (Haley) of Corydon; his daughters, Tiffany Powell (Bill) of Corydon and Kelli Vaughn (Billy) of New Albany; his sister, Sandy Farnsley of Corydon; his grandchildren, August, Quinn, Trey, Jordan, Rylee, Laynie, Conlee and Alik; and his great grandson, Jameson.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 12, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Donnie Whitlow will officiate.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. Saturday and after 12:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be William and August Powell, Alik Wilt, Jordan and Tre Vaughn and Kaitlyn Green.
