Ronnie E. Bruce

Ronnie E. Bruce, 75, of Corydon, died Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon.  He was born December 23, 1947 in Harrison County, Indiana.  He was a retired Social Worker and was a member of Community of Hope Church of The Nazarene in Corydon.

He was preceded in death by his father, Everett Elmer Bruce; his mother, Alma Kathleen Feller Bruce; his step mother, Clara Jean Love Bruce; his daughter, Patricia Kathleen Shaffer; his grandson, Nathan Everett Shaffer; and his sister, Joyce Philpot.

Survivors include his wife, Patsy E. Lowe Bruce; his sons, Ronnie Eugene Bruce (Marla) of New Salisbury, Indiana, Rodney Everett Bruce (Karen) of Corydon and Jason Ryan Bruce (Carly) of New Salisbury; his daughter, Tricia Janeen Behringer (Darin Smith) of Zionsville, Indiana; his sister, Virginia Hamilton (Jimmie) of Corydon; 12 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Josiah Windell will officiate.  Burial will be in Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Bruce, Adam Behringer, Bennett Behringer, Isaac Bruce, Eli Smith and Brandon Phillips.  Honorary pallbearer will be Callan Ranke.
