Ronald William “Ronnie” Deitrich, 33, of Castorland, New York, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 in Syracuse, New York. He was born February 19, 1987, at Fort Knox, Kentucky, to Robert “Ron” and Lorie (Hardin) Deitrich. He was a graduate of Corydon Central High School and the Nashville Automotive Diesel College. Ronnie worked as a commercial roofer for Infinite Construction in Syracuse, was a member of the Sons of the Legion, and enjoyed fishing and the outdoors.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William Gaylord Hardin.
Survivors include his parents of Corydon, Indiana; his two sons, Destin and Cohen Deitrich; his two sisters, Taylor Deitrich and Stephanie Pittman; his three brothers, Stephen Deitrich, Jesse Engleman and Robert Engleman; as well as grandparents, Robert “Bob” and Joan (London) Deitrich and Julia (Hardin) Baker.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 20, 2020, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in
Corydon. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Corydon.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Ronnie’s children.
Pallbearers will be Jesse Engleman, Mike Smith, Steven Eveslage, Gene Duncan, Chase Hardin, Tyler Tavelli, Grant Hardin and Cole Hardin.
