It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ronald Lee Bowers II. He departed this world peacefully on November 21, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness and cherished memories. He will forever be in our hearts.
Lee was born May 18, 1962, in Charleston, South Carolina. After moving around the world with his military family, he eventually landed in Harrison County Indiana where he lived his entire adult life. He loved his family and was very proud of his children. Lee enjoyed hunting, fishing, canoeing, wildlife and all things Harley. And his beloved dog, Athena.
Lee was a member of Local Unions Indiana 795 and Kentucky 576 and 4. He worked construction for several years making many life-long friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald L. Bowers; grandparents Dorothy Gifford and Vernon Bowers and Alvin and Frances McKee.
Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Jennifer Hanger Bowers; his children Brandon Bowers (Danielle), Brooke Bowers (Daniel) and Levi Bowers (Bri); his grandchildren Dakota Emily, Rachel Bowers and Gabriel Emily; his mother Frances Earlene Bowers; and his siblings Heidi Meredith and Vernon “Javie” Bowers.
A private service will be held to honor his memory. A Celebration of Lee’s Life will be held at a later date.
He will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Rest in peace, my love.
