Ronald James Richardson, Sr., 78, of Corydon, died Thursday, August 4, 2022. He was born July 21, 1944, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Felix and Mary Davidson Richardson. He was employed at Tyson Foods in Corydon, was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon, and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Jack Gogan, Austin Gogan, and Martin Richardson; and his sister, Florence White.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Rosemary Byerley Richardson; his son, Ronald James Richardson, Jr. (Ivonne); his daughters, Angela Finlay (Kevin) and Erica R. Timberlake (John); his brothers, Leland Richardson and Russell Richardson (Trudy); 13 grandchildren; and 14 great grandchildren.
His funeral mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon. Father Kyle Rodden will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. Monday and after 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
