Ron “RJ” Jackson, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025 at the age of 67. Known for his generous heart and unwavering dedication to his loved ones, he spent his life putting others first—always ready to lend a hand, offer support, or share a laugh.

 

He found happiness in the simple things—time spent with family, watching NASCAR, a good piece of chocolate cake and when he was able, time on the disc golf course. Whether he was helping a neighbor, fixing something for a friend, or spending time with his grandkids, his love and kindness touched everyone around him.

 

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, especially his beloved family and many friends & coworkers who were like family. His legacy of care, service, and laughter lives on in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to know him.

 

He was employed as a foreman with Summitt Trucking in Clarksville, Indiana and attended Community Fellowship Church in Corydon.

 

He was preceded in death by both of his parents, Ralph and Lucille Prince Jackson.

 

He left behind a loving family, including wife, Sherri Ruddell Jackson; children Dani (Mickey) Reynolds & Ronnie Jackson Jr.; grandchildren Ava, Jackson, and Lily Reynolds; sisters, Carmen McCauley, Theresa Ash, Diane Jackson and Patty Henderson; and far too many loved friends and family to name.

 

Funeral services will be at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Brother Steven Ruddell will officiate. 

 

Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
