Roger A. McDonough, 81, of Corydon, died Monday, May 27, 2024, at Todd-Dickey Medical Center in Leavenworth, Indiana.  He was born September 25, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late John Henry and Cora Schonffner McDonough.  He was retired from the U.S. Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, Indiana, was formerly employed at FireKing in New Albany, Indiana, was a member of Highland Avenue Holiness Church in Corydon, was a life member of the V.F.W. Post 2950 in Corydon, the American Legion, and the DAV, and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Marilyn L. Feller McDonough.

 

Survivors include his daughter, Debra Ann McInnis (Mike); his step daughter, Jacqueline Flatt (Rick); his step sons, Kenneth Engleman and David Engleman; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Danny Goodman will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

 

Visitation will be after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Adam Lone, Daniel Rogers, Mike McInnis, Tony Heeke, Alan Feller and Bob Lone.

 

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Highland Avenue Holiness Church.
