Robert O. “Bob” Lawalin, 70, of Corydon, died Friday, October 15, 2021, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. He was born July 20, 1951, in Tell City, Indiana, to the late Robert E. and Lois Thiry Lawalin. He was a retired Rad Tech at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon for over 38 years, was a member of Hursttown United Methodist Church near Corydon, and was a U.S. Navy veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his granddaughter, Destiny Cissell.
Survivors include his wife, Dawn E. Moorman Lawalin; his sons, Jason Lawalin of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, Daniel Lawalin of Corydon, and Brad Lawalin of Louisville; his daughter, Rhonda Lawalin-Lee of Corydon; his step sons, Zachary Moorman of Evansville, and Ethan Simpson of Corydon; his step daughters, Zara Moorman of Louisville, and Mariah Culp of Chandler, Indiana; his brother, Edward Lawalin of Cannelton, Indiana; his sister, Tammy Harding of Cannelton; 9 grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Hursttown United Methodist Church near Corydon. Pastor Edith Bleecker will officiate.
Visitation will be from 11:-00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Thursday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
