Robert Lewis Meitzler Obituary

Robert Lewis Meitzler, 63, of Corydon, died Thursday, April 17, 2025, at his home near Corydon.  He was born August 2, 1961, in Lake Station, Indiana, to the late John Meitzler, Jr. and Sandra Sullivan Meitzler.  He was a former general foreman for tree service companies for over 25 years, was an avid Chicago Cubs and Blackhawks fan, and loved fishing, building drag race cars, and especially attending his grandson’s sporting events.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Denise Lynn Coban Meitzler; and his brothers, Jason Meitzler and John “Little John” Meitzler III.

 

Survivors include his daughters, Heather Meitzler and Breanna Redmon; his grandsons, Austin Chadwick, Nevin Bolen and Gabriel Redmon; and his brothers, Mike Meitzler, Skip Meitzler and Darrell Meitzler.

 

Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
