Robert C. Boone, 83, of Corydon, Indiana, died Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Harrison Healthcare Center in Corydon.  He was born December 5, 1941, in Laconia, Indiana, to the late Carl and Louise Yeager Boone.  He was retired from the controller’s office and cost analysis at the Ford Motor Company LAP in Louisville, Kentucky, was a member of Corydon Christian Church Disciples of Christ, and especially loved travelling with his family.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister in law, Glenda Boone; and his nephew, Jeffrey Boone.

 

Survivors include his wife, Carol J. Windell Boone; his son, Mark Boone (Erin) of Lanesville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Kiersten, Leeann, Madison and Stephanie Boone; his brother, Charles D. Boone of Laconia; and his niece, Cortnai Boone of Laconia.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 20, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Lanny Lawler will officiate.  Burial will be in Central Cemetery in Central, Indiana.

 

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Cortnai Boone, Kent Yeager, Charles McMonigle, Terry Timberlake, Scott Shewmaker and John Colin.  Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Crosier and Bill Radmacher.
