Robert A. Arnold, Sr., 89, of Corydon, Indiana, died Thursday, February 20, 2025, in Floyds Knobs, Indiana.  He was born July 12, 1935, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Eugene and Ruth VanBrunt Arnold.  He was retired from Hoosier Panel Company in New Albany, was a member of the V.F.W. Post 2950 in Corydon, and was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Velda Amy Arnold; his daughter, Lisa Arnold Haas; 3 brothers; and 2 sisters.

 

Survivors include his daughters, Billie Jo Schuppert of Floyds Knobs and Sherry Walston of Clarksville, Indiana; his brother, Jackie Arnold of Jeffersonville, Indiana; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Corydon.

 

Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Jeff Reed, Todd Schuppert, Jo Schuppert, Gale Roberts, Brooke Reed, and Jeanette Pica.
