Richard K. Hiser, 67, of Lanesville, died Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at his home near Lanesville.  He was born February 10, 1956 in New Albany, Indiana.  He was retired from INDOT, and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville and the National International Harvester Collectors Club.

 

Survivors include his wife, Judy D. Mayfield Hiser; his parents, Joseph and Lula Jawtak Hiser of Elizabeth, Indiana; his step son, Kevin Akridge (Sherry) of Lanesville; his step daughter, Cindy Cundiff (Jim) of Boonville, Indiana; his brother, Randall Hiser (Cindy) of Elizabeth; his sister, Debbie Bell (Alan) of Elizabeth; and 7 grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2023, at St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville.  Pastor Mark Carnahan will officiate. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon, and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at the church.

 

Pallbearers will be Paul Akridge, Kevin Akridge, Gabe Lucas, Frank Law, Codey Coke, and Jim Garrison.
