Rex. F. Brown, 91, of Corydon, died Monday, August 26, 2024, at The Willows Assisted Living near Corydon.  He was born May 26, 1933, near Corydon, to the late Herschel Craig Brown and Hazel Mae Lang Brown.  He was a farmer, was a retired machinist at International Harvester in Louisville, was formerly employed with the Town of Corydon Waste Water Treatment Plant, attended Heidelberg Church near Corydon, was a member of the Old Capitol Saddle Club, and was U.S. Army veteran.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Charles M. Brown.

 

Survivors include his wife, Frankie J. Hood Brown; his daughter, Lisa D. Klein (Robert); his grandchildren, Brooke Deis (Michael) and Taylor Klein (Ashley); and his great grandchildren, Bradley, Blake and Bennett Deis.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 31, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Chuck Brown will officiate.  Burial will be in Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon.

 

Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Robert Klein, Taylor Klein, Michael Deis, Jerry Hardsaw, Alan Smith and Chuck Brown.
