Rebecca S. "Becky" Menges Obituary

Rebecca S. “Becky” Menges, 41, of Lanesville, died Saturday, July 11, 2020, at her home near Lanesville.  She was born December 10, 1978, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late J.D. and Ruby Faith Hardsaw.  She worked as a store manager at Walgreen’s, was formerly employed with Blue River Services and Allied Home Mortgage Capital both in Corydon and with Brown-Forman in Louisville, was a member of Union Chapel Christian Church near Laconia, and attended St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville.

 

Survivors include her husband, Richard K. Menges; her children, Riley Faith Menges, Aidan Kendall Menges and Adalyn Nicole Menges; her brothers, Gerald Hardsaw, Jimmy Hardsaw and Gary Lynn Hardsaw; and her sister, Gloria Farnsley.

 

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville.  Rev. Mark Carnahan will officiate.  Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
