Ray “Radar” Lillpop, 80, of Laconia, died Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at his home near Laconia. He was born December 20, 1939, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Ray Lillpop, Sr. and Sylvia Snyder Lillpop. He was a retired painter, farmer and school bus driver, was a former South Harrison School Corporation board member, and loved politics and his German Shepherd dogs.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brothers, Roy Lillpop, and Donald and Herschel Longacre.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon L. Bussabarger Lillpop; his sons, Tim D. Lillpop of Laconia, Billy R. Lillpop (Denise) of Laconia, and Jeff L. Lillpop (Jetta) of Elizabeth; his daughters, Cindy Gehlbach (Steve) of Laconia, and Lisa Needler (Scott) of Laconia; his sister, Anna Beanblossom of Laconia; 12 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Burial will be in Old Goshen Cemetery near Laconia.
