Preston S. Haun, 50, of Depauw, died Saturday, October 31, 2020, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born February 6, 1970, in Corydon, Indiana, to Anna B. Snyder Haun and the late Warren Eugene Haun. He was a self employed truck driver, was a farmer and horse breeder, was a member of Heidelberg United Methodist Church near Corydon, was a former member of the Harrison County Sheriff’s Department Horse Patrol, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his father, Warren Eugene Haun.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Christie Haun; his mother, Anna B. Snyder Haun of Corydon; his son, Nate Haun of New Salisbury, Indiana; his daughter, Kena Haun of Berkeley, California; his brother, Bryan Haun of Corydon; and his nephews and nieces, Cory Haun, Josh Haun, Laken Haun, Lee Manwaring, Julianna Manwaring, James Manwaring, Samuel Christie and Stephen Christie.
The family would like to invite everyone to honor Preston by gathering at the downtown Corydon Town Square at 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 6, 2020, as his final procession passes by. This will be followed by a memorial service at 6:00 p.m. Friday at Heidelberg United Methodist Church near Corydon.
Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2020, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
