Phyllis N. Green, 87, of Corydon, died Tuesday, December 15, 2020, at The Willows Assisted Living near Corydon. She was born September 1, 1933, in Mauckport, Indiana, to the late Oliver J. and Nellie Frances Hunter Faith. She was a member of the Corydon Christian Church Disciples of Christ and was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William C. “Bill” Green; her brother, Jerome “Bud” Faith; and her sisters, Opal Hardin, Edith Conrad, Maude Bachman, Anna Mae Emily, Bonnie Whitman, Wanda Smith, and Louella Frakes.
Survivors include her son, William “Butch” Green, Jr. (Anna); her daughters, Terri Lynn Himmelhaver (Louis) and Patricia B. Froman Garrison (Todd); her grandchildren, Melissa Wynn, Matthew Himmelhaver, Kimberley Powers, Chad Smith, and Andrew Garrison; and her great grandchildren, Evan, Ethan, Camryn, Keaton, and Kade.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Rick Harting and Joe Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
