Phyllis M. Turner

Phyllis M. Turner, 80, of Corydon, died Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Harrison Springs Health Campus in Corydon.  She was born September 12, 1942, in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late Robert A. Burford and Martha F. McClanahan Burford.  She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Corydon. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenton J. Turner; her son, Phillip J. Turner; and her brothers, Robert and Forest Burford.

Survivors include her son, Jason Blu Turner (Carrie) of Corydon; her brother, Charles Burford of West Virginia; her sister, Mary Maddox of West Virginia; and her grandchildren, Daniel James Turner, Belle Bethany, and Camila Bethany.

There will be a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 9, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Bishop Paul Hamann will officiate.

Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at a later date in Floral Hills Memorial Park, Zach’s Run, Quiet Dell, West Virginia.
