Phyllis Jean Popp, 74, of Elizabeth, Indiana, died Thursday, February 9, 2023, at her home near Elizabeth. She was born July 11, 1948, in Elizabeth, to the late Von and Dorothy Jean Treece Lopp. She was a homemaker and was an avid U of L fan.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Von Lopp; and her sister Yvonne Lopp.

 

Survivors include her husband, William R. “Bill” Popp; her son Jason Steiner (Brandy) of Corydon, Indiana; her daughter, Laura Steiner-Weathers of Depauw, Indiana; her step sons, Greg Popp (Amy) of Corydon and Willie Popp (Sherry) of Henryville, Indiana; her step daughters Leigh Seiler (Scott) of Greenville, Indiana, Micki Roberts of Corydon and Dana Fisher (Brock) of Georgetown, Indiana; her brothers, Dale Lopp (Rena) and Dean Lopp both of Elizabeth; and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren.

 

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Gilbert Duley will officiate. Burial will be at Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth.

 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Jason Steiner, Danny Goodman, Brock Fisher, Caleb Walden, Chris Lori, Jordan Kirkham, Levi Fisher, Dale Lopp, Dean Lopp and John Lopp.
